Open Access•Siv Therese Bogevik Bjørkedal, Thomas Nordahl Christensen et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2025

Introduction Since 2013, headspace Denmark has been offered in specific areas to adolescents and young adults between 12 and 25 years, to promote youth mental health and wellbeing. • Trust the process

Mihaela Ţăranu, Marc Malmdorf Andersen et al.•ARTICLE•Psychology of Aesthetics…•2024

In creativity research it is often claimed that creativity pertains to persons and products as well as processes. However, most studies have focused on the creative potential of persons and their creative products in detriment of looking at the creative process itself or investigating all three facets of creativity in the same study. In this article, we report on a study that investigated children's creative potential, iterations in their creativ…

  • The Danish Ibbis Trials for Sickness Absentees with Common Mental Disorders

Open Access•Andreas Hoff, Anders Bo Bojesen et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2024•References: 3

The real-word group showed significantly worse vocational outcomes. Like in many other studies of complex interventions, implementation was difficult in the original randomized trials and perhaps even more difficult in the less structured real-world setting. Since the intervention was less effective for some groups compared to SAU in the original trial, this negative effect may be even more pronounced in a real-world setting

  • Using Informational Video to Elicit Participation in Online Survey Research

Open Access•Mogens Jin Pedersen, Anders Bo Bojesen et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of Public…•2020•References: 12

Does integration of informational video in online survey invitations represent an effective mean for eliciting survey participation? Using a preregistered randomized controlled trial (n = 28,510), this article examines the survey response effects of embedding a link to an informational video in an email inviting people to participate in an online survey. We test the effects of two videos (low-cost and high-cost). Relative to a control group recei…

  • Use of antipsychotics and benzodiazepines in connection to minimising coercion and mechanical restraint in a general psychiatric ward

Open Access•Mikkel Højlund, Lene Høgh et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of Social…•2018

BACKGROUND: Decrease in coercive measures can lead to increased exposure to antipsychotics and benzodiazepines. This is not desirable as these drugs are associated with harmful side effects and reduced life expectancy. AIM: To quantify and compare the use of antipsychotic and anxiolytic medications in connection with the implementation of a programme to reduce coercion and restraint. METHODS: Observational study in a general psychiatric ward comp…
