  • Multimodal neuroimaging alterations in schizophrenia model rats and the modulatory effects of risperidone

Open Access•Shengjie Zhu, Yunxia Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2026

Background The hippocampus is considered to be closely associated with the emergence of negative symptoms and cognitive impairments in schizophrenia (SCH). A single imaging modality is insufficient to capture the comprehensive structural, functional, and metabolic alterations in the hippocampus. This study employed multimodal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to investigate changes in hippocampal volume, white matter integrity, and metabolite leve…

  • Exploratory MIA study

Open Access•Bin Wu, Yijie Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2025

Offspring rats exposed to maternal Poly(I:C) during pregnancy exhibited abnormalities across multiple domains, including brain structure, white matter microstructure, cerebral perfusion, and metabolism. This study provides additional evidence that maternal inflammation during pregnancy can interfere with offspring brain development and impair neurological function

  • Maternal immune activation induces sex-dependent behavioral differences in a rat model of schizophrenia

Open Access•Yunxia Liu, Liu Yunxia et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2024

Our results showed that the behavioral phenotypes induced by prenatal immune activation were highly dependent on the sex of the offspring

  • Serial Multiple Mediation of Mastery and Sleep Quality in the Relationship between Caregiving Burden and Anxiety among Parental Caregivers of Children with Leukemia in China

Open Access•Weikang Jiang, Jinzhu Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Health & Social Care in the…•2024•References: 1

Objective . The emerging literature on caregiving posits that anxiety is fairly prevalent and could vary with factors such as caregiving burden, mastery, and sleep quality. Little work has explained the possible dynamics between those variables. This study therefore aims to investigate the multiple serial mediations of mastery and sleep quality in the relationship between caregiving burden and anxiety among Chinese parental caregivers of children…

  • Evolutionary game analysis of emergency rescuer dispatching under bounded rationality

Open Access•Wenjun Sun, Changfeng Zhu et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of Disaster…•2023

In the initial stage of an emergency, rescue resources, such as rescuers, are often scarce, and victims at disaster sites under the condition of bounded rationality demonstrate competitive psychology in relation to the dispatch of rescue workers. Based on this, this study incorporates factors such as the bounded rationality of the disaster-stricken populations and their competitive psychology in terms of the number of rescuers into the analytical…

  • Depressive Symptoms as a Mediator between Excessive Daytime Sleepiness and Suicidal Ideation among Chinese College Students

    Open Access•Yao-Kun Yu, Zhi-Ying Yao et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating role of depressive symptoms between excessive daytime sleepiness and suicidal ideation in college students. Of the 6944 participants, 2609 (37.6%) were male and 4335 (62.4%) were female. College students with excessive daytime sleepiness (p < 0.001) and those with depressive symptoms (p < 0.001) were more likely to have suicidal ideation. Moreover, both excessive daytime sleepiness (β = 0.14, …

  • Highly Recurrent Copy Number Variations in GABRB2 Associated With Schizophrenia and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder

Open Access•Ata Ullah, Xi Long et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2020

These findings established for the first time the association of highly recurrent CNVs with SCZ and PMDD, suggesting the presence of an overlapping genetic basis with shared biomarkers for these two common psychiatric disorders

  • Consumer motivation in providing high-quality information

Sai Liang, Zili Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism…•2017•Cited by: 5•References: 11

Given the ever-growing information overload among users of online review websites, understanding the manner in which cognitive costs are reduced has become increasingly important. Despite the emergence of literature that focused on studying consumer motivation to publish high-quality reviews, the effect of direct intervention on this motivation remains relatively unclear. This study targets a unique design based on data from Qunar.com, one of the…

  • Pharmacokinetics-based elucidation on disparity in clinical effectiveness between varieties of Zhi Zhu Wan, a Traditional Chinese Medical formula

Open Access•Hongxin Cao, Xi Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2010
