Misalignment between infrastructure and mobility patterns constrains effective access to public EV charging
Uncovering the scaling properties of battery electric vehicle charging location choice behavior
Spatiotemporal analysis of heavy-duty truck activity-trip chains in Harbin, China: A multi-resolution GPS data fusion approach
Supply-demand dynamics and allocation equity in charging infrastructure: A user-centered approach
Envisioning shared autonomous vehicles (SAVs) for 374 small and medium-sized urban areas in the United States: The roles of road network and travel demand
Evaluating temporal variations in access to multi-tier hospitals using personal vehicles and public transit: Implications for healthcare equity
Overcapacity-driven regional waste incineration facility network planning with residential land value maximization involved: A case study of Shanghai, China
The effective implementation of garbage classification policies in metropolises appears to bring the government into a new quandary about the overcapacity of regional waste incineration facilities (WIFs). This paper proposes a bi-objective robust optimization model to replan the WIFs’ location and their logistics network toward operational cost minimization and regional residential land value maximization. Shanghai is selected as a real-case, and…
Spatiotemporal impacts of human activities and socio-demographics during the Covid-19 outbreak in the US
Through a mobility-augmented spatiotemporal modeling approach, we could quantify the time and space varying impacts of non-epidemiological factors on COVID-19 cases. The results suggest that the effects of population density, socio-demographic attributes, and travel-related attributes will differ significantly depending on the time of the pandemic and the underlying location. Moreover, policy restrictions on human contact are not universally effe…
