The Relation Between Ergonomics and Environmental Sustainability
This study investigates the relationship between ergonomics and environmental sustainability through a combined bibliometric analysis and scoping review. A search across four major databases identified 1081 articles, of which 82 were included in the final analysis. Bibliometric mapping using VOSviewer highlighted a strong conceptual alignment between ergonomics and sustainability, particularly around work systems, production processes, safety, an…
Corpus linguistics for low-density varieties. Minority languages and corpus-based morphological investigations
Corpus linguistics grew up in the domain of written (and literary) varieties, while its recent methodological revolution is due to the computer-assisted capacity of elaborating massive amounts of text data. On the other hand, the so-called ‘low-density varieties’, including spoken varieties as well as varieties spoken in minority communities, have been confined to a rather marginal role. Among others, this is due to the technical problems connect…
The Italian Version of the Junior Eysenck Personality Questionnaire
An experimental version of the Italian Junior Eysenck Personality Questionnaire with a 5-point scale was administered to a group of 1,000 high school students, 200 within each age group from 11 to 15 years. Following a previous exploratory factor analysis, which yielded a fourth factor in addition to the original three, the aim of the present research was to study the factor structure of the Italian version using confirmatory factor analysis. Thr…
The Italian Version of the Junior Eysenck Personality Questionnaire
Psychometric Characteristics of the Italian Clinical Depression Questionnaire Using a 5-Point Rating Scale with Undergraduates
The aim was to investigate the psychometric properties of a proposed experimental version of the 1979 Italian adaptation of the Clinical Depression Questionnaire (Krug & Laughlin, 1976). This version is composed of an increased number of choice alternatives (5 instead of 3), tested with 240 Italian undergraduates. An exploratory item-factor analysis yielded one factor, which accounted for 28.2% of the variance. Analysis of the relationship betwee…
