  • Serogenetic Characterisation of the Bhil Tribe of Rajasthan

    Open Access•Satish Kumar, K P S Kushwahs et al.•ARTICLE•The Anthropologist•1999

Baseline data are presented on A1A2BO Rhesus blood groups; PGMI, EsD, AK, ADA, GLO1 and ACP1 isozymes, haptoglobin and haemoglobin variants investigated in an endogamous tribal group of Bhils from Banswara district of Rajasthan. Except for the haplotypes of Rhesus and alleles of PGM1, ACP1 and ADA systems, distribution of alleles are in genetic equilibrium

  • Transferrin Subtypes in Haryana Determined by Agarose Gel Isoelectric Focusing

    Open Access•K P S Kushwaha, M Balaparameswara Rao•ARTICLE•Journal of Human Ecology•1997•References: 1

Distribution of transferrin subtypes in Haryana a north-went Indian state. based on isoelectric focusing analysis, had been reported. In the present investigation all the common subtypes were detected excepting TFC3 The allele frequencies (TF * C1 = 0.757. TF*C2 = 0.155, TF*C3 = 0.088) are in genetic equilibrium and within the frequency ranges reported from other parts of the country
