Inflammation and Ovarian Function in Reproductive‐Aged Women
Inflammation, as measured by C-reactive protein, is associated with early follicular phase follicle-stimulating hormone and inhibin B, although this is not true of AMH. Inflammation may exert an effect on ovarian function
Estimation of a Potential Hemodialysis Population
Estimates have been made of the annual number of chronic hemodialysis candidates. Using mortality data and informed medical judgment, upper and lower bound estimates of the potential hemodialysis population were found to be from 6,700 to 8,400 annually for the age group 15-54 years. A review of other reports on estimates of potential dialysis candidates was presented; these estimates were found to range from 2,000 to 60,000 per year
