Youth Experiences With a Therapy Dog
Dogs serve as companions with youth in a variety of therapeutic ways that help to increase positive mental health and wellness. In this study, a therapy dog, registered with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs ( ATD ), was introduced into a 12-week therapeutic youth mentoring program.
