Risk–need–responsivity: Evaluating need‐to‐service matching with reach, effectiveness, adoption, implementation, maintenance
With a sample of 125 adults under community supervision (71.20% male, 76.00% White, mean age = 33.17 years), this study evaluated need‐to‐service matching using an evaluation framework from implementation science. Need‐to‐service matching is a case management strategy intended to align service referrals in case plans with justice‐involved persons' criminogenic needs. Myths of Romantic Love and Gender-based Violence in the Fan Forum of the Spanish Teen Series Los Protegidos
By analysing the fan forum of a popular Spanish teen series aimed at young people, Los Protegidos (2010–12), this study explores how stereotypical myths and beliefs about romantic love are maintained. The article interprets comments made by Spanish fans of the series about the reactions and behaviours of the leading couple. Qualitative-quantitative analysis of narrative structures: The narrative roles of immigrants in Spanish television series
This paper presents a qualitative-quantitative method of analysis for semiotic narrative, applied to a case study of the image projected by immigrants in Spanish television series. The results contain five narrative prototypes in which immigrant characters tend to appear in Spanish television series. We consider the possible effects of recurring narrative settings on the construction of a public image of immigration in Spain
