  • A cross-sectional developmental approach to bilingualism

    Open Access•Roberto Filippi, Peter Bright•ARTICLE•Ampersand•2023

This article summarises over ten years of research on the effects of multilanguage acquisition on cognitive development (and decline) across the lifespan conducted by our lab. • Gender and Ethnic Differences in Survival in a Cohort of HIV Positive Clients

Peter Bright, Peter E Bright et al.•ARTICLE•Ethnicity and Health•1996

European Americans entered treatment at a much earlier disease stage (as measured by CD4 positive T-lymphocyte counts) and had higher educational levels (a surrogate for socioeconomic status) than African Americans. These factors may explain the longer survival in European Americans as compared to African Americans in this cohort

    Open Access•Dorothy V M Bishop, V A Ro et al.•ARTICLE•British Journal of Psychology•1996•Cited by: 4

Three groups of right-handers were identified using the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory. Exclusive strong right-handers (Rs: N = 18) reported that they always used the right hand for eight or more of the 10 activities, and usually used the right hand for the remainder. Exclusive weak right-handers (Rw: N = 15) usually used the right hand for three or more activities, and always used the right hand for the remainder. Predominant right-handers (Rp: …
