Analyzing the importance of network topology in Aadt estimation: Insights from travel demand models using graph neural networks
Global burden, inequality, and frontier gaps of autism spectrum disorder disability in adolescents and young adults, 1990–2021: A systematic analysis of the GBD 2021 study
Background: Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) ranks among the leading causes of years lived with disability in adolescence and young adulthood (AYA), yet global assessments still focus on childhood and seldom examine how national development modifies burden. Methods: We analysed Global Burden of Disease 2021 data for 204 countries and territories from 1990 to 2021. Among AYA aged 15-39 years, we extracted the age-standardised prevalence rate (ASPR) …
Global intercomparison of satellite-derived variability in reservoir storage
Understanding surface water reservoir storage variability enables vital insights into water management techniques, the impact of humans on global water storage, and climate-driven influences on water availability. In the past few years, recent improvements in satellite data availability and cloud computing have led to rapid growth in satellite-derived global observation of reservoir storage fluctuations, yet little research has directly compared …
Unravelling spatiotemporal patterns of solar photovoltaic plants development in China in the 21st century
Solar energy, as an environmentally sustainable power source, is gaining increasing popularity worldwide, driving a surge in the number of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants. China, which has a prominent role in this domain, requires continuous updates to its PV plant data for spatiotemporal analyses. However, there remains an absence of a comprehensive and timely dataset of PV plants across China, leaving PV installation dates and other crucial attr…
The Role of Intergroup Permeability on Chinese Migrant Children's Social Integration
We used structural equation modeling to examine the influencing factors and mediating mechanism in the process of migrant children's social integration. Participants were 437 migrant children in Shanghai. The results showed that as a risk factor, perceived discrimination had a significant negative effect on the migrant children's social integration. Intergroup permeability had a mediation effect in the relationship between migrant children's perc…
The dual-pathway model of collective action: Impacts of types of collective action and social identity
In three experiments, we manipulated procedural fairness (Experiment 1) and group-based anger and group efficacy (Experiments 2 and 3) to investigate the independent pathways of anger and efficacy for collective action in China. In Experiment 3 we also examined pathways to “soft” (low-cost) and “hard” (high-cost) collective action. Our results supported the dual-pathway model of collective action: group-based anger and perceived group efficacy in…
