Social recommendation leverages social relations to complement user–item interactions, alleviating data sparsity in recommendation systems. However, existing approaches still suffer from two critical issues: social graphs inevitably contain noisy or redundant edges, which can hinder user representation learning, and the results of recommendations are biased toward popular items, failing to capture user preferences for long-tail items. To address …

  • The Analysis on Nanhai No. 1 Shipwreck Site Based on the Mollusca Debris Data

Li Quan, Quan Li et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Archaeology•2019•Cited by: 1•References: 5

The Nanhai No. 1 Shipwreck is a wooden ship sunk 800 years ago during the Southern Song Dynasty of China. The zoobenthic shellfish communities in the sediments covering the wreck came from 296 species from 5 phylums, of which 290 were molluscs. These molluscs were mainly composed of local marine fauna based on the literature. By comparing the structural parameters of the zoobenthic debris communities and their changes among the different sediment…

  • Pathways to psychiatric care of patients from rural regions

Open Access•Xuemei Li, Weijun Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of Social…•2014

BACKGROUND: Pathway studies highlight the help-seeking behaviours of patients with physical and mental illness. A number of these studies have been completed in other countries, but there have been few reports from China. Therefore, this study was planned to explore the characteristics of the help-seeking pathways of patients with mental illness from rural regions of China through the mental health professionals and treatment at the General Hospi…
