Bu çalışma, Millî Mücadele döneminde Sovyet yardımının Sovyet Rusya belgeleri ile Türk diplomatik ve Meclis kayıtlarında nasıl kayda geçtiğini açıklamayı amaçlamaktadır. Statecraft After Liberalism: Türkiye’s Statist Turn and Structural Transformation on the Balkan—Near Eastern Periphery, 1923–1939
This study investigates Türkiye’s structural transformation between 1923 and 1939, with emphasis on the statist turn after the erosion of interwar liberalism. Sector-disaggregated historical series are analysed using a mixed design: MANOVA to test joint shifts in agriculture, industry, services; ynthetic ontrol (with timing, donor and log-scale robustness) to estimate a counterfactual path for real GDP per capita; PCA with change-point detection …
Beyond biased samples: Statistical-historical evidence on sacrality in Kemalist discourse (1923–1950)
Using a genre-stratified corpus of Turkish, French, and Ottoman-Turkish texts from the early Republic (1923–1950), this study tests the “secular religion” thesis amid state-building and reform. A Poisson GLM (with exposure), structural topic modelling, PPMI co-occurrence, and lexicon-based sentiment (BING/AFINN) show that religious imagery concentrates in poetic and oratorical registers, is absent from parliamentary prose, and does not exceed pol…
