Communicating with patients with schizophrenia
Twenty-seven video-recorded interviews, with nine patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, were analysed using qualitative methodology. Sequences of well and of poorly functioning communication were distinguished, and characteristic verbal and nonverbal means of communication were described.
