Parenting Attitudes of Pregnant Adolescents
The purpose of the present study was to assess parenting attitudes of 167 pregnant adolescents. Adolescents in the Teen Pregnancy Service had similar or more positive parenting attitudes than published adolescent norms but were more negative than adult norms. Racial differences were found in their attitudes but age and socioeconomic status were nonsignificant. Results were discussed in terms of the abuse/neglect potential among pregnant adolescen…
