Board Networks and Corporate Carbon Emissions
This study examines whether board networks influence corporate carbon emissions and the strategic pathways through which firms decarbonize. Using a sample of 1952 firms across 48 countries from 2003 to 2020, we employ dynamic stacked regressions that exploit exogenous carbon‐regulation shocks affecting firms connected through shared third‐party board memberships. We find that focal firms reduce absolute emissions by about 9%. The effect concentra…
‘The finny subject of the sea’
Inspired by Stacy Alaimo's notion of transcorporality, this article reconsiders multivalent aquatic womb imagery, Thaisa's pregnant embodiment and her (non)maternal identity in Pericles. We use a panel gravity data set consisting of 206 origin countries, 189 destination countries, and 16,557 country-pairs over the period 1995 …

Taking an (eco)feminist and phenomenological perspective, I argue that Moll has been misdiagnosed by both the play’s characters and critics who failed to recognize her sexual responsiveness to a suitor of her choice. In what fo…
