  • Orthography-phonology integration of Chinese children with developmental dyslexia

Mengran Liu, Menglian LIU et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2024

  • Mining activities accelerate the decomposition of organic matter from aquatic ecosystems through soil microbes

Open Access•Run Liu, Yinghui Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2023

Mining activities have been shown to affect the rate of carbon decomposition in aquatic ecosystems by altering the traits of the organic matter (e.g., leaf litter). However, the ecological function of soil microbes that enter aquatic ecosystems in association with organic matter is not known. Here, standardized cotton strip assays (CSA) were used to quantify the effects of soil microbial colonization location (mine vs. forest riverbank) and time …

  • Learning from experience in Hangzhou

    Open Access•Marcel Bastiaansen, Marie Young et al.•ARTICLE•World Leisure & Recreation•2020•References: 2

This text was collaboratively written by the 12 students – from Brazil, Canada, China, Hong Kong and Hungary – who participated in the WLCE Leisure Experience Research Opportunity, a fieldwork project focusing on resident, national and international visitors to the Chinese city of Hangzhou. The project, designed and implemented by the WLO, was supported by the Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Hangzhou Commerce and Tourism Group, and supe…
