    Open Access•Yu V Shatin, Yurii V Shatin•ARTICLE•Critique and Semiotics•2024

The article discusses the problem of the artistic method of the founder of Moskow conceptualism Dmitry Alexandrovich Prigov (DAP). Despite the fact, that system of new direction – meta modernism, which replaced postmodernism, took shape in the 2010s, when the master’s creative path ended, many features of DAP’s poetics indicate a premonition of a shift towards a new direction. Using the example of the analysis of Pushkin’s code, our article revea…

  • Rhetorical Methods of Reconstructing the Image of the Hero in Modern Journalism. The Era of Metamodernism

    Open Access•Yu V Shatin•ARTICLE•Vestnik NSU Series History and…•2021

The article studies the methods of deconstructing the image of the hero in journalistic texts of the 21st century from the metamodernism perspective. Based on the works of the main theorists of metamodernism R. Akker and T. Vermeulen, the author of the article focuses on the reception of post-irony, which due to the oscillation (fluctuation of sense) blurs the line between irony and seriousness. Being a universal culture phenomenon, post-irony as…

  • Universals of verbal culture

    Lyudmila Dampilova, L S Dampilova et al.•ARTICLE•Sibirskii Filologicheskii Zhurnal•2020

The paper deals with developing a theory of verbal culture, represented at the levels of folklore, literature, and language. On the one hand, we understand verbal culture as a part of general ethnic culture, including language and forms of literature based on it, and, on the other hand, as a reproducible component of social and linguistic practice. Thus, verbal culture has a depth and includes at least three layers: language, folklore, and litera…

    Open Access•Yu V Shatin, Yurii V Shatin et al.•ARTICLE•Critique and Semiotics•2019

The article discusses the prerequisites for the creation of a neo-rhetorical theory of the Brussels school. The authors proceed from the premise that the doctrine created by Ch. Perelman was not a one-step act, but was the result of a change in the scientific and philosophical paradigm of the first half of the twentieth century. Despite the fact that persuasiveness as the main core of the theory of argumentation was not known to scientists, in th…
