  • Effects of exposure to PM2.5 and its chemical components on survival of patients with lymphoma

Open Access•Changpeng Liu, Liang Ma et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Exposure to PM 2.5 may adversely affect the survival of lymphoma patients. Further studies, including mechanistic investigations and clinical trials, are needed to validate this association. Additionally, lymphoma patients may benefit from residing in areas with good air quality after diagnosis, as this could potentially improve their survival outcomes

  • Mechanisms of Xuefu Zhuyu Tang in the Treatment of Diabetic Erectile Dysfunction in Rats Through the Regulation of Vascular Endothelial Function by CaSR/PLC/PKC and MEK/ERK/RSK Pathways

Open Access•Xiao Li, Mingzhao Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Men s Health•2024

Xuefu zhuyu Tang (XFZYT) is a classic formula used for promoting blood circulation and resolving blood stasis in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Clinical data have indicated that XFZYT plays a significant therapeutic role in diabetes-induced erectile dysfunction (DIED) disease, but the underlying mechanism remains elusive. Male Sprague–Dawley (SD) rats were randomly categorized into normal, model, and treatment groups. The diabetic rat model was es…

  • Burden of neck pain in general population of China, 1990–2019

Open Access•Weiwei Xia, Jiangmei Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Global Health•2024

Background: Neck pain has become very common in China and has greatly affected individuals, families, and society in general. In this study, we aimed to report on the rates and trends of the prevalence, incidence, and years lived with disability (YLDs) caused by neck pain in the general population of China from 1990 to 2019. Methods: We used data from the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study 2019 (GBD 2019) study to estimat…

  • Leopard predation on wild Sichuan snub-nosed monkeys

Open Access•Bin Yang, James R Anderson et al.•ARTICLE•Primates•2023

  • The spatial spillover effect of China’s pollutants emission trading pilot scheme on green efficiency

Open Access•Kaifeng Wang, Chunping Zhong et al.•ARTICLE•Environment Development and…•2023

  • The Assessment of Indoor Formaldehyde and Bioaerosol Removal by Using Negative Discharge Electrostatic Air Cleaners

    Open Access•Chao-Yun Liu, Chao‐Heng Tseng et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

This study investigated the single-pass performance of a negative corona electrostatic precipitators (ESP) in removing suspended particulates (PM 2.5 and PM 10 ), formaldehyde (HCHO), and bioaerosols (bacteria and fungi) and measured the ozone (O 3 ) concentration generated by ESP. The experimental results revealed that if the operational conditions for the ESP were set to high voltage (-10.5 kV) and low air flow rate (2.4 m 3 /min), ESP had opti…
