  • Predictive Value of CRIB II Score, Hematological Markers and Maternal-Fetal Risk Factors for Mortality in Neonatal Sepsis

Open Access•Bugis Mardina Lubis, Cindy Clarissa Sirait et al.•ARTICLE•Children•2025

CRIB II and PLR are reliable, independent predictors of mortality in neonatal sepsis. Their integration with maternal factors such as prolonged rupture of membranes may improve early risk stratification and guide targeted interventions, particularly in resource-limited neonatal care settings

  • Haematological profile of children with malaria in Sorong, West Papua, Indonesia

    Open Access•Syilvia Jiero, Hugh C Daly et al.•ARTICLE•Malaria Journal•2021

  • Addressing hard‐to‐reach populations for achieving malaria elimination in the Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network countries

Open Access•Kinley Wangdi, Ayodhia Pitaloka Pasaribu et al.•ARTICLE•Asia & the Pacific Policy Studies•2021•Cited by: 2•References: 1

Member countries of the Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network are pursuing the regional goal of malaria elimination by 2030. The countries are in different phases of malaria elimination, but most have demonstrated success in shrinking the malaria map in the region. However, continued transmission in hard‐to‐reach populations, including border and forest malaria, remains an important challenge. In this article, we review strategies for improvin…

  • Prevalence and risk factors of soil-transmitted helminthiasis among school children living in an agricultural area of North Sumatera, Indonesia

Open Access•Ayodhia Pitaloka Pasaribu, Anggraini Alam et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2019

The prevalence of STH infection in school children in Suka village, Tigapanah subdistrict is still high. Playing with soil/dirt increased the risk of infection, while hand washing habits and latrine usage decreased the risk of infection. The combined strategies of improving the personal hygiene of children and biannual deworming can reduce the risk of STH infection in school children in Suka village, Tigapanah subdistrict
