    In the summer of 2015, a two-month archaeological excavation was conducted in Komárom, at the Komárom/Szőny-MOL-Kiskertek site.     As in 1929 and 2007, an excavation was conducted in the close south-eastern neighbourhood of the legionary fortress of Brigetio unearthing similar archaeological features, graves of the late Roman cemetery and a barrel-lined well.     In 2020, excavations were carried out simultaneously at several locations both in the territory of the legionary fortress and the military town of Brigetio.
