Empowering Change: The Impact of Women and Diverse Communities on India’s Path to Development
India's ambitious initiative, Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-reliant India), aims to boost the nation's economic self-sufficiency and growth. Women's economic empowerment is crucial for achieving this goal. Skill development plays a pivotal role in equipping women with the necessary tools to participate effectively in the workforce and contribute to Atmanirbhar Bharat. This paper explores the current state of women's skill development in India, the cha…
Impact of natural resource conservation technology on productivity and technical efficiency in rainfed areas of Southern India
This paper assessed the impact of natural resource management technology (NRCT) on productivity and efficiency in maize production using an endogenous switching regression model in rainfed areas of Southern India. We also identified factors influencing adoption of NRCT, and technical efficiency in maize production. For this study, plot-level primary data from 303 farm households cultivating maize on 419 plots were collected. Results show that ado…
Convexity of Parametric Weighted Fuzzy Divergence Measures
This paper defines some weighted fuzzy parametric divergence measures such as Vs(A | | B; W) Ws(A | | B ; W) and Qs(A | | B ; W). Convexity, concavity and non-negativity of these measures are calculated by taking different values of parameters. For this we exploit Csiszar’s f-divergence and take the help of differential calculus

Oral placement therapy: A novel approach for addressing lead metal toxicity in autistic children
Objective: To investigate the effect of OPT (Oral Placement Therapy) on Blood lead levels (BLL) measured in microgram/dl and CARS 2 ST (Childhood Autistic Rating Scale 2nd edition Standard version) scores of autistic children both in the short and long term. It also studied the clinical views in speech, feeding and sensory needs by using OPT to bring down the BLL along with levels of CARS2-ST scores in children under autism spectrum disorder. Met…
Study of the progress, challenges, and opportunities in artificial intelligence of things (AIoT)
Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and gadgets collect and interpret environmental data, transfer them to cloud centers, and receive feedback via the Internet for connectivity and perception in the IoT age. Transmitting enormous amounts of heterogeneous data, interpreting the resulting complicated surroundings, and then making timely, informed decisions are all difficult tasks. Several applications of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly deep…

Development of a Social Interaction Questionnaire for the Trainers and Mothers of Children with Disabilities Participating in Dousa-Hou (Japanese Psycho-Rehabilitation) Camps
A 12-item Social Interaction Questionnaire was developed to measure the social interactions among trainers and mothers of children with disabilities in Dousa-hou camps. Dousa-hou is a Japanese psychological rehabilitation method which is widely used for children with mental retardation, cerebral palsy, and autism in Japan and other Asian countries. The primary focus of the rehabilitation method is to improve bodily movements, posture, and social …

Cross-Cultural Examination of Social Interactions during a One-Week Dousa-Hou (Japanese Psychorehabilitation) Camp
Dousa-hou is a Japanese psychological rehabilitation method which is widely used in Japan for children with mental retardation, cerebral palsy, and autism. The primary focus of the rehabilitation method is to improve bodily movements and posture as well as to introduce social support to patients and their first-degree relatives. Analysis showed mothers got more social support interacting with their child's trainer and supervisor during Dousa-hou.…
Cross-cultural patterns in emotion recognition: Highlighting design and analytical techniques
This article highlights a range of design and analytical tools for studying the cross-cultural communication of emotion using forced-choice experimental designs. American, Indian, and Japanese participants judged facial expressions from all 3 cultures. A factorial experimental design is used, balanced n x n across cultures, to separate "absolute" cultural differences from "relational" effects characterizing the relationship between the emotion ex…

Responses of Low-IQ Students on the Learning Awareness Questionnaire Compared to Students Matched on Mental and Chronological Age
Learning awareness, including semantic content, response strategy, processing strategy, summarization, and memory in the classroom, were examined in students with mental retardation. From urban schools in Japan special high school students with average IQ of 60 (n = 40) and students with normal intellectual capacity matched on mental (n = 40) and chronological age (n = 40) were administered a 16-item Learning Awareness Questionnaire. Students of …
Cooperative Learning-Based Approach and Development of Learning Awareness and Achievement in Mathematics in Elementary School
Elementary school students (control group: n = 30, experimental group: n = 30) were introduced to a cooperative learning-based approach in a pre-post design. Development of learning awareness and performance on achievement task were the dependent measures. The cooperative learning-based approach of the experimental group induced significantly greater learning awareness and better performance on an achievement task than for the control group who h…
