    The 2019-2020 archaeological research resulted in the discovery, near Timișoara, at site Hladik 1, of a Sarmatae cemetery of which 139 burials have been investigated, some encircled by a ditch.     This paper presents the latest epigraphic discovery in the camp of XIIIth Legion Gemina, represented by a votive altar dedicated to Iupiter Optimus Maximus, the protective Genius of the centuria, by a non-commissioned officer with the rank of optio named M(arcus) Atti(us) Valens.
