Mormintele sarmatice de la Prăjeni (județul Botoșani) / The Sarmatian graves from Prăjeni (Botoșani County)
Between 1985 and 1988, 14 Sarmatian graves were excavated at Prăjeni (Botoșani County), in the locations known as Alimândra, Nelipești, Țarnă and Lutărie 2. These graves have not been systematically published but information about them may be found in the literature published so far. Delimited Funerary Spaces – Hellenistic Tumuli with Stone Enclosures at Kallatis
This article analyzes the practice of delimiting tumuli graves with stone enclosures, mainly in the Classical and Hellenistic cemeteries of Kallatis/ Callatis (Mangalia), a Dorian establishment on the western Black Sea, following the recent exploration of a monumental tumulus ensemble, the Documaci Mound, built at the end of the 4th c.
