  • U.S.–China trade war and corporate reallocation

Open Access•Haoyuan Ding, Kees Koedijk et al.•ARTICLE•World Economy•2022

  • The internationalisation of Chinese firms

Open Access•Haoyuan Ding, Kees Koedijk et al.•ARTICLE•World Economy•2021

We find that a firm's export performance, in terms of value, quantity, unit price level and product varieties, is considerably better in destination countries where the firm has previously invested. The patterns are more pronounced when exporters are non‐state‐controlled…

The asymmetric and segmented causality between the monetary policy and real estate market in China is crucial but remains mystery. With the application of quantile causality test, this article investigates nonlinear dependence between property prices and money supply. Our results show that the tail causality exists in many cities in China. Moreover, we find that small-sized cities and inland cities are more sensitive to the broad money (M2) chang…
