  • A hybrid MCDM approach based on combined weighting method, cloud model and Copras for assessing road construction workers’ safety climate

Open Access•Jing Cai, Yihui Hu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2024

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to propose a novel approach to assess the safety climate level of different groups of workers in a construction company and predict safety performance and implement targeted improvement measures. Design/methodology/approach: This paper utilizes the BP neural network and random forest algorithm to establish a weight learning mechanism for calculating the weights of safety climate evaluation criteria. The cloud…

  • Lower serum insulin-like growth factor 2 level in patients with bipolar disorder is associated with the severity of manic symptoms during manic episodes

Open Access•Seo-Hyeon Ye, Ying Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2024

Lower serum IGF-2 levels were found in BD patients and correlated with the severity of the manic symptoms in these patients during manic episodes. These results suggest that reduced IGF-2 levels might be involved in the pathophysiology of BD, and serum IGF-2 could be a peripheral biomarker for the evaluation of the severity of manic symptoms in BD patients

  • The effect of Baduanjin exercise on health-related physical fitness of college students

Open Access•Yu Ye, Ye Yu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2022

Background: The continuous decline in the physical fitness of college students has become a serious social problem worldwide. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the effective method improving college students' physique. Previous studies have shown that Baduanjin exercise is beneficial in improving sleeping quality, mental health, body flexibility, and body physique. However, the evidence is unclear whether Baduanjin exercise can be recommended…

  • Use of Deep Learning in Forensic Sex Estimation of Virtual Pelvic Models from the Han Population

    Open Access•Yong-Jie Cao, Yongjie Cao et al.•ARTICLE•Forensic Sciences Research•2022•Cited by: 2•References: 2

Accurate sex estimation is crucial to determine the identity of human skeletal remains effectively. Here, we developed convolutional neural network (CNN) models for sex estimation on virtual hemi-pelvic regions, including the ventral pubis (VP), dorsal pubis (DP), greater sciatic notch (GSN), pelvic inlet (PI), ischium, and acetabulum from the Han population and compared these models with two experienced forensic anthropologists using morphologic…

  • Uncovering the mechanisms of leech and centipede granules in the treatment of diabetes mellitus-induced erectile dysfunction utilising network pharmacology

Open Access•Jian Xiong, Jian Xiong Ma et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2021

  • A Note on the Relationship of the Shannon Entropy Procedure and the Jensen–Shannon Divergence in Cognitive Diagnostic Computerized Adaptive Testing

Open Access•Wenyi Wang, Lihong Song et al.•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2020

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the Shannon entropy procedure and the Jensen–Shannon divergence (JSD) that are used as item selection criteria in cognitive diagnostic computerized adaptive testing (CD-CAT). Because the JSD itself is defined by the Shannon entropy, we apply the well-known relationship between the JSD and Shannon entropy to establish a relationship between the item selection criteria that are ba…

  • Decreased Plasma Levels of Growth Differentiation Factor 11 in Patients With Schizophrenia

    Open Access•Yang Zhao-xi, Zhao-xi Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2020

Schizophrenia is linked with abnormal neurodevelopment, on which growth differentiation factor 11 (GDF-11) has a great impact. However, a direct evidence linking GDF-11 to the pathophysiology of schizophrenia is still lacking. The current study aimed to investigate the relationship between plasma GDF-11 levels and both psychopathological symptoms and cognitive function in schizophrenia. Eighty-seven schizophrenia patients and 76 healthy controls …

  • Treatment Responses of Cognitive Function and Plasma Asymmetric Dimethylarginine to Atypical Antipsychotic in Patients With Schizophrenia

Open Access•Zhi-Min Yu, Ying Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2019

Cognitive deficits represent a core feature of schizophrenia. Previous studies have demonstrated that plasma asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) was increased in patients with schizophrenia and correlated with cognitive impairments. Atypical antipsychotics can produce cognitive benefits in schizophrenia patients. In this study, we conducted a prospective observation trial to explore whether plasma ADMA may serve as an indicator for evaluating cogn…

Peng Xu, Lu Qi et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2015

    摘要

  • The Markov Chain Model for Forecasting of Subject Representation to Thinking Point State

Peng Xu, Jian Xiong•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2013

Acquiring quantitative data of linguistic and mental representations is not only a techno-keystone about the correlative between language and mentality but also a difficult point of research methodology about linguistic analysis. The mathematical model which, combining natural linguistic structure, provides quantitative analysis is of very important impact for understanding the psychological information delivered by language representation. The sente…
