Disease experiences and perspectives of adolescent patients with inflammatory bowel disease
Purpose: The prevalence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in adolescents worldwide is increasing year by year. In order to better manage the disease, it is necessary to listen to the real voice of patients. Therefore, this study aims to explore the real experience of adolescents with IBD and propose targeted intervention strategies based on the bio-psycho-social model. Design: Qualitative meta-synthesis. Methods: A systematic search was conduct…
The relationships among trauma, stress, social support, and psychopathology
This study, from a cross-sectional network perspective, identifies central nodes linking mental health factors and psychiatric symptoms. Although this approach does not establish causal relationships, the results enhance our understanding of their interconnections and may contribute to the development of more systematic and effective early-warning systems for psychological disorders in adults
Exosomal microRNA signatures in youth at clinical high risk for bipolar disorder
The study identified four target miRNAs involved in neuroimmunity and neuronal plasticity, supported by literature linking these miRNAs to neuropsychiatric diseases, suggesting their potential as biomarkers for early BD. Future research should integrate additional biomarkers for improved discriminative performance

It is more pronounced in cities. In the Al-Bataween area of Baghdad, the interaction of people with their surroundings provides an opportunity to examine the physical space layout that influences routines and social interactions. In this context, this paper exam…
Comparative Study on the Satisfaction of Healthcare Service Providers with the Synergistic Development of Rural Healthcare Systems in China
To facilitate the establishment of county medical alliances, managers of leading county-level hospitals should adopt a healthcare system integration strategy. This strategy involves evolution from being a member of a single institution to a coordinator of cross-institutional vertical integration of medical and healthcare services. Additionally, revamping remuneration and appraisal systems for members of county medical alliances is necessary. This…

Understanding and assessing uncertainty of observational climate datasets for model evaluation using ensembles
In climate science, observational gridded climate datasets that are based on in situ measurements serve as evidence for scientific claims and they are used to both calibrate and evaluate models. However, datasets only represent selected aspects of the real world, so when they are used for a specific purpose they can be a source of uncertainty. Here, we present a framework for understanding this uncertainty of observational datasets which distingu…
Prevalence and environmental impact factors of somatization tendencies in eastern Chinese adolescents
The aim of this study is at examining the prevalence and impact factors of adolescent somatization tendencies (ST) across three eastern Chinese provinces. A multicenter school-based cross-sectional study was conducted in these provinces from 2015 to 2016. The sample included 11,153 middle-school students aged 13-18 years, who were randomly selected using a multi-phase stratified cluster sampling technique. We also designed a multicenter school-ba…
