The Muwashshaḥāt and the Kharjas Tell their Own Story
The Script and text of Ibn Quzmān’s Dīwān: Some giveaway secrets
The diminutives in the dīwān of Ibn Quzmān: A product of their Hispanic milieu
The distinguished orientalist Reinhart Dozy, writing in 1849, and referring to the possible influence of Arabic poetry on Spanish romances and on the early troubadour lyrics, pronounced the whole question as 'tout à fait oiseuse'. He went on to say about this highly controversial question: 'nous voudrions ne plus la voir débattue, quoique nous soyons convaincu qu'elle le sera pendant longtemps encore. A chacun son cheval de bataille
Qifā Nabki: The Dual Form of Address in Arabic Poetry in a New Light
A document of cultural symbiosis: Arabic MS. 1623 of Escorial Library
Hartwig Derenbourg in his Notes critiques sur les manuscrits arabes de la Bibliothèque Nationale de Madrid , (1904), described MS. no. DXCIII of the catalogue of these manuscripts compiled by F. Guillén Robles in the following terms: Le seul ouvrage Chrétien en pur arabe (DXCIII), est un unicum de première importance, les Canons de l'Eglise chrétienne hispanique à la fin du VII e siècle de notre ère, dans un exemplaire du milieu du XI e
