Recent Suicide Rates among Ten Ojibwa Indian Bands in Northwestern Ontario
This study was designed to investigate the rate of completed suicides for ten Ojibwa Indian bands in Northwestern Ontario for the years 1975 to 1982. Records from Medical Services, Health and Welfare Canada [1], were reviewed for suicide data and individual interviews were conducted with nine native health workers to corroborate these data.
