Reconsideration of the Locke-Wallace Marital Adjustment Test
The Locke-Wallace Marital Adjustment Test has been in use for over thirty years despite the development of other scales. The role of the test is discussed in terms of theoretical and practical concerns in the measurement of marital satisfaction. Dimensional Analysis of past and Present Satisfaction in Relation to Present Marital Satisfaction
The Past and Present Married Life Questionnaire was administered to 92 adults to study the convergence between past and present evaluations of satisfaction for different spheres of married life and to assess the relation of convergence to current marital satisfaction. Greater convergence was associated with greater current satisfaction on the Locke-Wallace Marital Adjustment Scale
