Factorial Structure of the Tennessee Self-Concept Scale
A factor analysis of the Tennessee Self-concept Scale was conducted on the profiles of 76 alcoholic male veterans. 14 separate dimensions of self-concept were described by three independent factors (Self-esteem, Certainty, Response Set) and accounted for 74.7% of total test variance.
