    Open Access•Paula Wurth, Anselm B M Fuermaier et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2025

This study shows that adults with ADHD and/or ASD generally agree with their diagnosis, but the extent to which they like their diagnosis varies. Masking is commonly reported and depends on the context. Perceiving benefits was the variable most strongly associated with quality of life, highlighting the importance of clinical approaches promoting strength-based perspectives rather than a strict deficit approach

  • Feigning Adult ADHD on a Comprehensive Neuropsychological Test Battery

Open Access•Miriam Becke, Lara Tucha et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2023

The evaluation of performance validity is an essential part of any neuropsychological evaluation. By administering a comprehensive neuropsychological test battery to 57 adults with ADHD, 60 neurotypical controls, and 151 instructed simulators, we examin…

Open Access•Nana Guo, Janneke Koerts et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Neuropsychological assessments of attention are valuable sources of information in the clinical evaluation of adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
