    The Servicio Cooperativo Interamericano de Salud Pública expanded public health services in Bolivia after the 1952 Revolution. I argue that not all U.S. aid to Bolivia deepened Bolivian subservience to the United States and that SCISP did more to further Bolivian than U.S. objectives in the 1950s.
