  • Psychological capital and learning burnout in college students

Open Access•Fangfang Liu, Fan Xu et al.•ARTICLE•Social Behavior and Personality…•2025

This study explored the mediating effect of coping styles in the relationship between psychological capital and learning burnout. We used a cluster sampling method to recruit 647 college students, who completed the Psychological Capital Scale, the Learning Burnout Scale, and the Chinese Trait Coping Style Questionnaire. Linear regression analysis was used to explore the role of positive coping and negative coping, and a bootstrapping analysis was…

  • Metagenomic Analysis of Microbial Alliances for Efficient Degradation of PHE

Open Access•Pan Xu, Xiaoxiao Chen et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are a widespread organic pollutant worldwide. In this study, a highly efficient phenanthrene (PHE)-degrading microbial community was enriched from oil extraction soil, which could degrade 500 mg/L PHE within 4 days. Using 16S rRNA sequencing, the dominant bacteria in this community at the phylum level were found to be Proteobacteria , Actinobacteria , and Firmicutes . Metagenomic annotation of genes revealed the m…
