  • LLM-based collaborative programming

Open Access•Yi-Miao Yan, Chuangqi Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Humanities and Social Sciences…•2025

At present, collaborative programming is a prevalent approach in programming education, yet its effectiveness often falls short due to the varying levels of coding skills among team members. To address these challenges, Large Language Models (LLMs) can be introduced as a supportive tool to enhance both the efficiency and outcomes of collaborative programming. In this shift, the structure of collaborative teams evolves from human-to-human to a new…

  • Improving students’ programming performance

Open Access•Xindong Ye, Wenyu Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Humanities and Social Sciences…•2025

With the development of the times, programming education has become increasingly important for individual development. However, for programming beginners such as primary and secondary school students, learning programming is not a simple task and requires additional learning support. Generative AI (GenAI) chatbots are effective teaching aids that can reduce the learning difficulty of programming by providing real-time guidance and personalized le…

  • Digital Travel to Improve Emotional State and Well-Being During the Covid-19 Pandemic

    Open Access•Ze‐Min Liu, Cheng‐Ye Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Cyberpsychology Behavior and…•2023

The continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a decline in people's subjective well-being and emotional states. Digital travel based on 360° videos provides an alternate way for people to improve their mental health at home during this specific period. Yet, how to construct effective digital travel content that improves emotions remains an issue. This investigation assessed the impact of people's perceived presence and sense of place (SOP)…

  • Effects of immersive virtual reality cardiopulmonary resuscitation training on prospective kindergarten teachers' learning achievements, attitudes and self‐efficacy

Open Access•Ze‐Min Liu, Xianli Fan et al.•ARTICLE•British Journal of Educational…•2022

Children's unexpected cardiac arrest warrants cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by kindergarten teachers. Yet, recent research revealed trained personnel reporting poor transfer of acquired skills during real‐world emergencies with conventional CPR training. Immersive virtual reality (IVR) training induces a greater sense of presence and agency than conventional CPR training and may be more effective in terms of increasing trainees' intention a…

  • Usability and Effects of a Combined Physical and Cognitive Intervention Based on Active Video Games for Preschool Children

Open Access•Ze‐Min Liu, Chuangqi Chen et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Executive functions (EFs) are essential for early childhood development, and effective programs to improve EFs in preschool education are becoming increasingly crucial. There is rising evidence that combined physical-cognitive intervention training utilizing active video games (exergames) could be a viable strategy to improve EFs. However, there is a shortage of empirical evidence on the application of this approach in preschool education. The ef…

  • Modulation of Facial Processing by Identity Information in a Face Similarity Evaluation Task

Open Access•Qiang Zhou, Xindong Ye et al.•ARTICLE•Social Behavior and Personality…•2014

We used a face similarity task with event-related potentials (ERPs) in a study conducted with 22 individuals in order to examine the processing of identity information. During the evaluation task, significant variations in the late negative potential were elicited by different identity contexts of couples versus strangers. By contrast, the face-specific N170 component was not significantly affected by variations in identity context. In addition, …
