Self-efficacy, perceived helplessness, and meaning in life are important influencing factors on antenatal depression among pregnant women. Meaning of life should be emphasized to enhance self-efficacy and reduce perceived helplessness, thereby reducing the risk of antenatal depression
The mediating role of family function in the relationship between stressful life events and depressive symptoms in mid-pregnancy women
These findings suggest that improving family functioning and fostering communication can help reduce depressive symptoms during the second trimester, supporting maternal mental health
