  • Eupalinolide B ameliorates liver fibrosis by targeting PKCα to suppress the AKT/mTOR axis in hepatic stellate cells

Open Access•Ao Wang, Hui Dong et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Gigantol

Open Access•Si Shi, Sha Shi et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Ganoderic acid A

Open Access•Qi Sui, Chengkai Zhu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

  • Ginsenoside RK3 promotes neurogenesis in Alzheimer's disease through activation of the CREB/BDNF pathway

Open Access•Lingyu She, Hao Tang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024

In conclusion, this study demonstrated that RK3 promotes learning and cognition in APP/PS1 and C57 mice by promoting neurogenesis and synaptogenesis through the CREB/BDNF signaling pathway. Therefore, RK3 is expected to be further developed into a potential drug candidate for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD)

  • Norboldine improves cognitive impairment and pathological features in Alzheimer's disease by activating AMPK/GSK3β/Nrf2 signaling pathway

Open Access•Yuqing Zeng, Li Xiong et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024

  • Kaempferol attenuates streptozotocin-induced diabetic nephropathy by downregulating TRAF6 expression

Open Access•Wu Luo, Xiaojun Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2021

Our findings provide direct evidence that TRAF6 mediates diabetes-induced inflammation leading to renal dysfunction. We also show that KPF is a potential therapeutic agent to reduce inflammatory responses in DN. Also, TRAF6 may represent an interesting target to combat DN
