Spatiotemporal changes in cropland soil organic carbon in a rapidly urbanizing area of southeastern China from 1980 to 2015
Understanding the spatiotemporal changes in soil organic carbon (SOC) and their driving factors is an important prerequisite in decision‐making for maintaining sustainable agricultural development and addressing climate change. However, the impacts of urbanization‐induced changes in cropland management practices on the spatiotemporal changes in SOC and their implications remain unclear, in particular over different time periods. In this study, a …
Validating the Experiences in Close Relationships–Relationship Structures Scale among Chinese Children and Adolescents
The Experiences in Close Relationships-Relationship Structures (ECR-RS) scale is designed to capture attachment among diverse relational contexts (e.g., parents, friends). Although the ECR-RS has begun to be applied to children and adolescents, its psychometric properties among children and adolescents are not well-known, especially concerning second-order structural validity, measurement invariance, and longitudinal predictive validity. To fill …
Community-Based Family Workshop Intervention Improved the Social Adaptation of Left-Behind Children in Rural China

Methods: A cluster randomized trial was conducted with 104 LBC, in which 66 LBC-caregivers dyads received guidance fr…
Mental health and its influencing factors among left-behind children in South China
The present study demonstrated that in general, no difference of mental health problems were found between LBC and NLBC. Besides, longer duration of parental absence, shorter duration of talk per time but more communication frequency, and higher paternal educational level tend to have better development of mental health. The findings reinforce the importance of the stability of caregivers and the effective parent-child communication for Chinese r…
