Examining the asymmetric link between tourism and carbon emissions
This study examines the asymmetric relationship between tourism and carbon emissions using cross-quantilogram approach in Taiwan. The results reveal that tourism has a positive impact on reducing carbon emissions at both low and high quantiles, with inbound tourism showing a promoting effect on high quantiles of carbon emissions.
