  • Juglans regia L. attenuate Psoralea corylifolia L.-induced hepatotoxicity by regulating the Nrf2 pathway and amino acid metabolism

Open Access•Yu Wu, Meimei Luo et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Steamed garlic attenuates ulcerative colitis in mice by modulating the Mapk signaling pathway and improving intestinal homeostasis

Open Access•Xiaofang Hu, Yarong Li et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Four decades of population expansion and shrinkage across Chinese cities

Open Access•Yonghua Zou, Xingyu Zhu et al.•ARTICLE•Environment and Planning B Urban…•2025

Based on the latest three Chinese censuses and the population prediction model, we use four cartograms to reveal the population expansion and shrinkage across the prefecture-level cities in mainland China from 2000 to 2040. The cartograms demonstrate a difference in the spatial distribution of cities that expand and shrink in four decades. Especially, the cartograms reveal that the proportions of cities with shrinking populations in these four de…

  • Global, regional, and national burden of cardiovascular diseases attributable to metabolic risks across all age groups from 1990 to 2021: An analysis of the 2021 global burden of disease study data

    Open Access•Xingyu Zhu, Xing-Yu Zhu et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Notwithstanding a global decline in age-standardized mortality and disability-adjusted life year (DALY) rates, the burden of cardiovascular diseases attributable to metabolic factors remains significant worldwide. Targeted interventions must be implemented without delay, particularly for males and populations in low and middle SDI regions, to mitigate the impact of metabolic factors on public health

  • Establishment of XRD fourier fingerprint identification method of realgar decoction pieces and its anti-tumor activity in tumor-in-situ transplanted mice

Open Access•Xilong Qian, Ying Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024
