  • Network pharmacology and experimental validation uncover how Shoutai pills improve ovarian function in postpartum depression following a secondary birth

Open Access•Cheng-Liang Zhou, Chengliang Zhou et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Network-based pharmacological and experimentally validated study on the therapeutic effects and mechanisms of Polygonatum Rhizoma Ginseng Formula in immunocompromised mice

Open Access•Xinglishang He, Wanfeng Xu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

  • Shoutai Pill synergistically inhibits internal reproductive organ apoptosis: Coordinated EGFR/PI3K/AKT modulation in primary ovarian insufficiency

    Open Access•Yi-Piao Zhang, Si-Mei Dong et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

The results indicate that STW effectively restores hormonal homeostasis, ovarian function, and uterine morphology in POI mice. This therapeutic effect may involve inhibition of the ovarian-endometrial cell apoptosis cascade via activation of the EGFR/PI3K/AKT pathway. These findings provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms of POI and support STW as a potential therapeutic strategy targeting the ovary-uterus axis

  • Exploring the efficacy and mechanism of Bailing capsule to improve polycystic ovary syndrome in mice based on intestinal-derived LPS-TLR4 pathway

Open Access•Hao-ru Guan, Bo Li et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024

  • Ganluyin ameliorates DSS-induced ulcerative colitis by inhibiting the enteric-origin LPS/TLR4/NF-κB pathway

Open Access•Taoxiu Xiong, Xiang Zheng et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2022

  • Ginsenosides regulation of lysophosphatidylcholine profiles underlies the mechanism of Shengmai Yin in attenuating atherosclerosis

Open Access•Yun Wang, Jiawei Wu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2021

Our findings revealed that ginsenosides from SMY exerted therapeutic effects on atherosclerosis by maintaining lipid homeostasis including cholesterol and lysoPCs

  • Total ginsenosides extract induce autophagic cell death in NSCLC cells through activation of endoplasmic reticulum stress
