  • Davallia bilabiata exhibits anti-angiogenic effect with modified MMP-2/Timp-2 secretion and inhibited Vegf ligand/receptors expression in vascular endothelial cells

    Open Access•Chun-Ting Liu, Chun‐Ting Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2017

  • Indigo naturalis and its component tryptanthrin exert anti-angiogenic effect by arresting cell cycle and inhibiting Akt and FAK signaling in human vascular endothelial cells

    Open Access•Hsin-Ning Chang, Sheng-Teng Huang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2015

All together, these results demonstrated the anti-angiogenic effect of tryptanthrin, the acting component of indigo naturalis and revealed the underlying mechanism by inhibiting the cell cycle progression, cell migration and tube formation, likely mediated through blocking the Akt and FAK pathways

  • In vivo and in vitro inhibitory effects of a traditional Chinese formulation on LPS-stimulated leukocyte–endothelial cell adhesion and VCAM-1 gene expression

    Open Access•Yi-Hong Wu, Shih-Yi Chuang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2012
