Synergies and barriers
China’s construction industry has neglected sustainable development to a certain extent while developing rapidly. The current research on the sustainable development of the construction industry is relatively single-dimension and lacks multi-dimensional integration research. This paper integrates the five dimensions of Green, Opening, Sharing, Innovation, and Coordination, and addresses these issues by introducing an integrated framework combinin…
A standardized modeling method for Chinese residential building clusters in solar radiation simulation
Association of parental favouritism in childhood and depression in old age
Background: The global prevalence of depression is on the rise, and has evolved into a major public health concern. Given that parental favouritism in childhood exerts a long-term impact on children's mental health, we aimed to explore its association depression in old age. Methods: We retrieved 19 180 data points from 3836 individuals aged 60 years and over from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study 2011, 2013, 2015, 2018, and 2020 …
The association between childhood hunger experiences and health in middle and old age
CHEs had a negative impact on the health of middle and old age. While their effects on depression and cognitive function gradually worsen, the effects on self-assessed health and memory were mitigated over time. Lifestyle factors such as smoking, exercising, and sleep duration were transmitting factors of the health effects of CHEs. Thus, the health status of individuals who experience childhood hunger warrants attention
Classical prescription Daqinjiao decoction inhibit cerebral ischemia/reperfusion induced necroptosis and ferroptosis through multiple mechanisms
Risk analysis of underground debris flows in mines based on a coupled weighted Bayesian network
The relationship between childhood hunger experiences and activities of daily living disability
CHEs predicted ADL disability, and depression mediated this correlation. There is a need to focus on the impact of CHEs on mental and physical health. In particular, focusing on mental health is necessary to prevent impairment of physical functioning
Decomposition analysis on the equity of health examination utilization for the middle-aged and elderly people in China
A pro-rich inequity existed in health examination service utilization among the middle-aged and elderly population in China. Reducing the wealth and regional gap, providing equal educational opportunities, and strengthening the capacity for chronic disease prevention and control are crucial for reducing the inequity in health examination service utilization
Quantifying the effect of ground view factor and ground temperature on outdoor mean radiant temperature
Reliability analysis of reflectivity calculation methods for non-uniform building surface
Criterion based selection of sky diffuse radiation models
