  • Neuroprotective effects of ZiYin XiFeng formula against Parkinson's disease via Nrf2/SLC7A11/GPX4-mediated ferroptosis inhibition

Open Access•Xiangyu Guo, Qiaomei Fu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Hepatoprotective effects of tetrahydropalmatine against NAFLD through autophagy activation and lipid metabolic reprogramming via the AMPK–mTOR–Sirt1 axis

Open Access•Xiangyu Guo, Xunzhe Yin et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Higher nitrification and lower consumption drive higher N 2 O effluxes in estuarine than non-estuarine mangrove wetlands

Open Access•Conghe Zhang, Wei Ke et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2025

Mangrove ecosystems are highly productive, sequestering large amounts of carbon from the atmosphere while emitting relatively low levels of greenhouse gases. Large amounts of organic matter and nitrogen from river discharge may stimulate production and emission of greenhouse gases including N 2 O, thus reducing the blue carbon storage capacity of mangrove wetlands. However, it is unclear how the input of organic matter and nitrogen affect the emi…

  • The mediating role of emotional experience in the happiness of digital face beautification based on self-discrepancy theory

  • Changing spatiotemporal patterns for hepatitis of unspecified aetiology in China, 2004–2021: A population-based surveillance study

Open Access•Na Zhao, Xiangyu Guo et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2023

Objectives As global efforts continue toward the target of eliminating viral hepatitis by 2030, the emergence of acute hepatitis of unspecified aetiology (HUA) remains a concern. This study assesses the overall trends and changes in spatiotemporal patterns in HUA in China from 2004 to 2021. Methods We extracted the incidence and mortality rates of HUA from the Public Health Data Center, the official website of the National Health Commission of th…

  • Impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the dynamic Covid-zero strategy on HIV incidence and mortality in China

Open Access•Lan Wang, Na Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2023

The findings suggest that China's dynamic COVID-zero strategy may have partly disrupted HIV transmission and further slowed down its growth. Without China's dynamic COVID-zero strategy, HIV incidence and deaths in the country would have likely remained high in 2020-2022. There is an urgent need to expand and improve HIV prevention, care, and treatment, as well as surveillance in the future

  • Cod (Gadus) skin collagen peptide powder reduces inflammation, restores mucosal barrier function, and inhibits fibrosis in dextran sodium sulfate-induced colitis in mice

Open Access•Xiangyu Guo, Xiangdan Li et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2023

  • Influencing factors of and driving strategies for vegetable farmers' green pesticide application behavior

Open Access•Yun Teng, Xinlin Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2022

At present, the phenomenon of excessive pesticide residues in vegetables is prominent, causing widespread concern among all sectors of society. Excavate the influencing factors in the farmers themselves, government, market and society that affect vegetable farmers' green pesticide application behavior, clarify the influence mechanism of influencing factors on vegetable farmers' green pesticide application behavior. The study includes two parts: F…

  • Driving mechanism of farmers' green production behavior under normalization of Covid-19 prevention and control: A case study in China

Open Access•Yun Teng, Boyuan Pang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2022

China's public health emergency COVID-19 has brought great challenges to food safety. Among them, the quality and safety of agricultural products under the normalization of the COVID-19 prevention and control has become a hot issue of general concern. This study attempts to reveal the driving factors and mechanisms of farmers' green production behavior. The empirical research by collecting 673 sample data shows that: individual characteristics of…

  • The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the incidence and mortality of zoonotic diseases in China

Open Access•Chenjin Ma, Xiangyu Guo et al.•ARTICLE•BMJ Global Health•2022

BACKGROUND: It has been reported that strict non-pharmaceutical measures can significantly reduce the incidence and mortality of respiratory and intestinal infectious diseases during the COVID-19 pandemic, but there are limited reports on the impact in terms of the rates of zoonotic diseases. METHODS: We extracted the incidence and mortality data of eight notifiable infectious zoonotic diseases from the website of the National Health Commission o…

  • Collateral Impact of Covid-19 Prevention Measures on Re-Emergence of Scarlet Fever and Pertussis in Mainland China and Hong Kong China

Open Access•Yiran He, Chenjin Ma et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

The incidence of scarlet fever and pertussis has increased significantly in China in recent years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, stringent non-pharmaceutical intervention measures were widely adopted to contain the spread of the virus, which may also have essential collateral impacts on other infectious diseases, such as scarlet fever and pertussis. We compared the incidence data of scarlet fever and pertussis in Mainland China and Hong Kong from…
