Testing Threshold Effects of External Debt
This study examines external debt threshold levels in a huge sample of developing world during the years 1991 to 2020. Methodologically, dynamic panel threshold model is employed for digging out the endogeneity problem. Using yearly data, we confirm the general consensus that external debt negatively affects output growth when it reaches or is above certain threshold level. In particular, we find total external debt threshold at 90% and long-term…
Comparative effects of organic and inorganic amendments on heavy metal co‐contaminated soil remediation, reducing heavy metal bioavailability and enhancing nutrient accessibility for maize growth
Many years ago, widespread and ineffective technologies led to significant ecological contamination, primarily due to heavy metals (HMs), particularly lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd). Plant growth in heavy metals contaminated and calcareous soil is a challenge for all the growers worldwide. Several organic and inorganic amendments are used by researchers in different types of soils. However, their impact on soil contaminated with toxic metals and alka…
Aegiceras corniculatum extract suppresses initial and late phases of inflammation in rat paw and attenuates the production of eicosanoids in rat neutrophils and human platelets
A study on antioxidant, free radical scavenging, anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective actions of Aegiceras corniculatum (stem) extracts
