  • Screen exposure before age two and developmental outcomes in early childhood

Open Access•H J Yang, Huimin Yang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2026

Screen exposure before the age of two was associated with poorer developmental outcomes, particularly in the language, social behavior, and fine motor domains. Limiting daily screen time emerged as a crucial factor associated with better developmental scores. Additionally, girls exhibited a weaker association between screen time and lower scores compared to boys. These findings highlight the importance of public health recommendations focused on …

  • Increased Salience Network Activity in Patients With Insomnia Complaints in Major Depressive Disorder

    Open Access•Chunhong Liu, Chun-Hong Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2018

Our findings suggest that increased resting state ALLF in IFG/AI may be specifically related to hyperarousal state of insomnia in patients with MDD, independently of the effects of anxiety and depression

  • A New Grey Relational Analysis Model Based on the Characteristic of Inscribed Core (IC-GRA) and Its Application on Seven-Pilot Carbon Trading Markets of China

    Open Access•Lihong Wang, Li-Hong Wang et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2018

  • Deoxyphorbol 13-palmitate inhibit Vegf-induced angiogenesis via suppression of VEGFR-2-signaling pathway

    Open Access•Huiyu Xu, Hui-Yu Xu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2013

  • The Perceptual Span and Parafoveal Preview Effect of Fifth Graders and College Students

Guoli Yan, Guo-Li YAN et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2012

  • Amygdala Activation to Sad Pictures During High-Field (4 Tesla) Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Lihong Wang, Li-Hong Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Emotion•2005

Fear-related processing in the amygdala has been well documented, but its role in signaling other emotions remains controversial. The authors recovered signal loss in the amygdala at high-field strength using an inward spiral pulse sequence and probed its response to pictures varying in their degree of portrayed sadness. These pictures were presented as intermittent task-irrelevant distractors during a concurrent visual oddball task. Relative to …
