  • Establishing robust chronologies in mangrove sediments in Southeast China with synergistic application of 210Pb and dual 137Cs markers

Open Access•Shengbin Ye, Qiangqiang Zhong et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2026

  • The effects of interdisciplinarity and relationship link attributes on team performance from a dynamic perspective

Open Access•Junwan Liu, Tiansheng Zheng et al.•ARTICLE•Scientometrics•2026

  • Pharmacological effects and mechanism of Ilexsaponin A1 in modulating platelet function

    Open Access•Yumin Zhang, Yu-Min Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

  • The antiangiogenic effect of total saponins of Panax japonicus C.A. Meyer in rheumatoid arthritis is mediated by targeting the HIF-1α/Vegf/ANG-1 axis

Open Access•Xiang Guo, Jinkai Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024

These results suggest that TSPJs effectively inhibit angiogenesis in RA, and the mechanism may be related to inhibiting the HIF-1α/VEGF/ANG-1 axis

  • Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of 23-Valent Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine Program for the Elderly Aged 60 Years or Older in Shanghai, China

Open Access•Xiaodong Sun, Yuekun Tang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2021

Background: The pneumococcal vaccine has been considered as the most effective measure to prevent pneumococcal diseases. In 2013, Shanghai launched a major public health program to vaccinate people aged 60 years or older with 23-Valent Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine (PPSV-23) free of charge. By the end of June 2020, a total of 1.56 million old people had been vaccinated free of charge. Objective: To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of PPSV-23…

  • Effectiveness of 23-Valent Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine Against Pneumococcal Diseases Among the Elderly Aged 60 Years or Older

Open Access•Xiaodong Sun, Xiang Guo et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2021

Background: Streptococcus pneumoniae infection among adults, especially in adults over 60 years old in China results in a large number of hospitalizations and a substantial financial burden. This study assessed the vaccine effectiveness (VE) of 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPV23) against pneumococcal diseases among the elderly aged 60 years or older in Shanghai, China. Methods: We conducted a test-negative case–control study amo…

  • Vaccination coverage with the pneumococcal and influenza vaccine among persons with chronic diseases in Shanghai, China, 2017

Open Access•Yuheng Wang, Minna Cheng et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2020

We found low levels with of pneumococcal vaccination, and extremely low uptake of influenza vaccination among individuals with high risk conditions in Shanghai who should be priority groups targeted for vaccination. Interventions could be designed to target groups with low uptake - like younger adults, and individuals who have not yet retired
