  • Heterogeneous Effects of Industrial Agglomeration on Carbon Emissions and the Moderating Role of the Digital Economy: Evidence from Different City Types in the Yangtze River Delta

Open Access•Guancen Wu, Zhicheng Zeng et al.•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2026

This study proposes a novel analytical framework that integrates the digital economy, industrial agglomeration, and carbon emissions. It then applies this framework to examine the heterogeneous impacts of secondary and tertiary sector agglomeration on carbon emissions and the moderating role of the digital economy across different city types within the Yangtze River Delta (YRD). The results suggest that secondary sector agglomeration generally in…

  • How is the development of industrial digital-real integration progressing?—Evidence from China’s cultural industries

Open Access•Rui Huang, Hongqiang Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Humanities and Social Sciences…•2025

Digital-real integration refers to embedding digital technologies across the entire industrial chain and lifecycle of the real economy, thereby forming a high-quality industrial ecosystem centered on digital technologies. Based on this concept, this study aimed to propose a methodology for scientifically assessing the progress of digital-real integration in the cultural industry. To achieve this, the study used Chinese cultural industry as an exa…

  • Employing observational method for prospective data collection: A case study for analyzing diagnostic process and evaluating efficacy of TCM treatments for diabetes mellitus

Open Access•Xuelan Gu, Nan Huang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2016

  • Magnetostratigraphic dating of the Donggutuo and Maliang Paleolithic sites in the Nihewan Basin, North China

Open Access•Hongqiang Wang, Chenglong Deng et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary Research•2005

A detailed magnetostratigraphic investigation, coupled with rock-magnetic studies, was carried out on a lacustrine sequence in the eastern Nihewan Basin, Northern China, which contains the Donggutuo and Maliang Paleolithic sites. Magnetite and hematite were identified as the main carriers for the characteristic remanent magnetizations. Magnetostratigraphic results show that the lacustrine sequence recorded the late Matuyama and Brunhes chrons. Fu…
