Obituary
This tribute by Mr. Amery to an old friend was written only a few days before he himself died at his London home at the age of 81. Although Mr. Amery did not play an active part in the affairs of the Royal African Society his name was a household one to its members as, indeed, it was in every institution connected with the Commonwealth.
