  • Heterogeneity in postoperative intrinsic capacity trajectories in older adults with hip fractures

Open Access•Wenya Qiang, Huolan Zhu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Objective To investigate the group heterogeneity in postoperative intrinsic capacity (IC) recovery trajectories among older hip fracture (HF) patients and identify key independently associated factors. Methods We conducted a prospective longitudinal study of 184 older patients following HF surgery at two tertiary hospitals. IC was assessed at 48 h, pre-discharge, 1 month, and 3 months post-surgery. A multi-state Markov model (MSM) was used to qua…

  • Multi-omics elucidation of HDRSD alleviating allergic rhinitis via IL-1β/TRPV1 pathway regulation

Open Access•Yunong Li, Jianing Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Prevalence and transmission of HIV-1 drug resistance mutations among patients with treatment failure and newly diagnosed people in Liangshan Prefecture, China, in 2021–2023

Open Access•Rong Pei, Yulian Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2025

Introduction: Despite expanded antiretroviral therapy (ART) in China, HIV transmission persists. Liangshan Prefecture is one of the areas in China most severely affected by HIV, with high levels of drug resistance. A deeper understanding of HIV-1 drug resistance can lead to improvements in current treatment policies. Methods: We conducted an analysis of HIV drug resistance mutations (DRMs) among patients with treatment failure and people newly di…

  • Association among resilience, post-traumatic stress disorder, and somatization in frontline healthcare workers in Covid-19

Open Access•Minjie Li, Xingfeng Yu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2022

The prevalence of PTSD and somatic symptoms indicates that the mental health of frontline healthcare workers deserves more attention. Resilience is negatively associated with PTSD and somatization, and the relationship among resilience, PTSD, and somatization is mediated by perceived stress. Strategies for reducing perceived stress and increasing resilience may help to prevent and alleviate PTSD and somatization

  • Phosphodiesterase-5 Inhibitors for Premature Ejaculation

Open Access•Xuebao Zhang, Nan Chi et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Men s Health•2020

The purpose of this analysis is to assess the efficacy and safety of phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors (PDE5Is) for the treatment of premature ejaculation (PE). A comprehensive search was performed to ascertain from trials about PDE5Is for the treatment of PE and compare the results, including intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IVELT), score of sexual satisfaction scale, and side effects, between the group treated with PDE5Is and that treated wi…
