  • Perceived stigma, emotional resilience, and depressive/anxiety symptoms across school stages

    Open Access•Shu-Ping Fang, Jian-Jun Luo et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2026

Findings highlight emotional resilience as a principal pathway linking stigma to depressive and anxiety symptoms, with stronger mediation at later school stages. This supports a dual-track approach to school mental health: anti-stigma and help-seeking initiatives alongside resilience-enhancement embedded in curricula and school climate. Limitations include the cross-sectional design, reliance on self-report, potential selection/nonresponse bias f…

  • Danggui Buxue Decoction and its components dilate coronary artery through activating the inward rectification K+ channels pathway

Open Access•Wenqiao An, Qianqian Tian et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

  • Effect of Diet and Exercise-Induced Weight Loss among Metabolically Healthy and Metabolically Unhealthy Obese Children and Adolescents

Open Access•Qin Yang, Kun Wang et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Objective: To study the effect of diet- and exercise-based lifestyle intervention on weight loss (WL) and cardiovascular risk among metabolically healthy obese (MHO) and metabolically unhealthy obese (MUO) children and adolescents. Methods: The sample included 282 obese individuals (54% males, age (±SD) 12.9 (±2.3) years) who completed a 3- to 4-week WL camp program between 2017 and 2019. MUO was defined according to the consensus-based definitio…

  • Characterization and Transcriptome Analysis of a Long-Chain n-Alkane-Degrading Strain Acinetobacter pittii SW-1

Open Access•Weina Kong, Cheng Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2021

    Strain sw-1, isolated from 7619-m seawater of the Mariana Trench, was identified as Acinetobacter pittii by 16S rRNA gene and whole-genome sequencing. A. pittii sw-1 was able to efficiently utilize long-chain n -alkanes (C 18 -C 36 ), but not short- and medium-chain n -alkanes (C 8 -C 16 ). The degradation rate of C 20 was 91.25%, followed by C 18 , C 22 , C 24 , C 32 , and C 36 with the degradation rates of 89.30%, 84.03%, 80.29%, 30.29%, and 13…
